Charmaine Pas coaches men to rediscover who they are today, so they attract the right partner or reignite their relationship.

GM Academy stands for GentleMan Academy, and that name says everything about the approach. This is not a place where men learn pickup lines or tricks to impress women. It is a place where men learn to impress themselves first. I am Charmaine Pas, dating and relationship coach for men in the Netherlands. My work starts with one question: who are you right now, not who you were ten years ago? Most men I work with are successful in business, clear-headed at work, and completely lost when it comes to love. That gap is exactly where I step in. I help men become self-aware, build genuine confidence, and either attract a partner who matches the man they are today or restore the spark in the relationship they already have.

The path from competitive athlete to dating and relationship coach is less unusual than it sounds. Elite sports teach you one thing above all else: talent alone gets you nowhere. You need discipline, self-awareness, and the mental strength to keep showing up even when results feel far away. That lesson stayed with me long after my sports career ended. After stepping away from top-level competition, I wanted to channel that mindset into something that could help others. I started writing, first a cookbook called Good Mood Food, then two e-books: 10 Dating Tips for Men and 7 Dating Tips for Women. Friends had always called me the optimist, and I was starting to understand why: I genuinely believed people could change faster than they thought, as long as they got the right push in the right direction. The shift toward coaching men happened organically. During workshops and conversations, men kept asking me the same questions, not about training or nutrition, but about women. Why can I not find someone who actually fits me? Why do I freeze up around someone I like? I recognized that pattern immediately. Being successful in your career is one skill. Being present, confident, and authentic in love is a completely different one. That realization became the foundation of the GentleMan Academy. Not a school for seduction, but a space where men rebuild their sense of self and learn to show up fully, in dating and in relationships. Today I coach men across the Netherlands from my base in the Den Haag and Maassluis area.

Most dating advice skips the most important step: figuring out who you are before deciding who you want. At GM Academy, self-knowledge always comes first. Before we talk about the ideal partner, we get clear on who you are right now, not the version of you from a decade ago, but the man sitting across from me today. That clarity changes everything. When you know yourself, you stop chasing the wrong people and start recognizing the right ones. The approach is direct, honest, and grounded in practical experience. No scripts, no manipulation, no theory without application. Every session moves you closer to a concrete insight or a concrete action.
We start by mapping who you are today: your strengths, your blind spots, your patterns. Most men discover they have been operating from an outdated version of themselves. Getting current is the first real shift.
Once you know yourself clearly, we identify what a matching partner actually looks like for the man you are now, not the man you used to be. This prevents repeating the same mismatch in a different relationship.
Confidence is not a personality trait, it is a state you can train. We work on the mindset and energy shifts that make you naturally more attractive, without pretending to be someone you are not.
Whether through the Powerdag, beach coaching sessions, or relationship coaching, every insight gets tested in reality. Feedback is immediate, practical, and specific to your situation.

No tactic works if you do not know who you are. At GM Academy, every program starts with honest self-reflection before we ever discuss how to approach a date or improve a relationship. Clarity about yourself is the foundation everything else is built on.
Vague feedback helps no one. Charmaine's style is known for being sharp and honest, combined with genuine care and a sense of humor. Clients describe it as a mirror held up with both hands: confronting and constructive at the same time.
The GentleMan in GentleMan Academy is deliberate. Real strength includes the ability to be present, empathetic, and emotionally honest. Men who combine those qualities do not just attract better partners, they become better partners.
GM Academy does not sell confidence in a weekend. The programs are designed to create lasting shifts in mindset, self-image, and behavior, changes that hold up in real relationships, not just on a first date.
Every insight at GM Academy is grounded in practice. The Powerdag puts men in real situations with real feedback. Beach coaching happens in the open air, away from a desk. The learning sticks because it happens in life, not just in a session.
A breakthrough call is not a sales pitch. It is a direct conversation where we look at your situation, identify what is actually getting in the way, and figure out whether GM Academy is the right fit. Most men leave the call with at least one concrete insight, whether they decide to work together or not. If you are ready to stop guessing and start moving, book your call below.
