Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 24, 2026

1. Services

a. The coach provides personal services in the field of coaching and training, focused on self-development and communication. These services are set out in a proposal approved by the client and/or commissioning party. The coach acts with integrity, keeping the client's best interests at heart.

b. The services are exploratory in nature and aimed at personal awareness and change. The client applies any insights gained at their own discretion in their personal circumstances.

c. The client is assumed to be in good physical and mental health. In case of doubt, the client should take the initiative to consult a qualified professional. Any concerns must be communicated to the coach directly, both before and during sessions.

d. The coach reserves the right to decline or immediately end the relationship with a client. Any issues that arise are treated as an integral part of the process.

e. The coach helps clients gain insight into their competencies and personal functioning. The client is solely responsible for providing accurate information and making sound decisions.

f. Any referrals to individuals, companies or medical professionals are made based on the coach's knowledge at the time. All contact established with such parties falls outside the coach's responsibility.

g. Agreed fees for long-term engagements are valid until the end of the calendar year following the date of signing and may be revised thereafter.

h. Rescheduling within 48 hours: Sessions that are not cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance will be charged in full.

Cancellation of training sessions and workshops: For agreements concluded at a distance, a cooling-off period of seven calendar days applies. The client may cancel free of charge within this period. If services are used during the cooling-off period and the client subsequently cancels, a proportional fee is due.

After the cooling-off period has expired, the client owes 75% of the agreed fee.

i. The client must respect the physical integrity of the coach at all times.

2. Confidentiality

a. Client names, addresses, personal details and contact information are used exclusively for recording payment obligations and for standard communication purposes. Client data is not shared with third parties.

b. Given the short-term nature of the engagements, extensive file-keeping is not practised. Any personal files are accessible only to the coach and the client in question. Upon completion of coaching, files are destroyed within 48 hours.

c. Experiences from sessions may be used in communications with others, in such a way that the identity of the client involved cannot be traced.

3. Payment and gifts

Fees and payment terms are communicated in advance via a quotation. Invoices are due within seven calendar days unless otherwise agreed. Gifts given without a specific service in return are welcome but cannot subsequently be designated as payment.

4. Guarantee

a. Due to the nature of coaching as a best-efforts service and the client's own contribution, the coach provides no guarantee of success or improvement. The client determines whether and how quickly they bring about change. An interim assessment may be provided.

b. Any dissatisfaction with the service must be reported in writing within eight days. A consultation may then take place.

5. Liability

In case of gross negligence, liability is limited to the extent recognised and covered by the coach's insurance, up to the maximum amount paid out by the insurer. The same limitation applies to damage to buildings, property or physical injury. The coach is not liable for direct or indirect consequences of normal, incorrect or improper use.

6. Applicable law and dispute resolution

All services and deliveries by the coach are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in The Hague, unless resolved amicably.

Last amended on 9 October 2024 and filed with the Chamber of Commerce under number 68134835.
